Post-COVID-19 Syndrome
Have you recovered from COVID-19 and now have residual symptoms? Have you tested positive without having symptoms — or were never tested — and now are troubled with unusual fatigue, ‘brain fog’, aches and pain?
You may have Post-COVID-19 Syndrome (PCS) or Post-Acute COVID Syndrome (PACS), which is commonly called ‘long COVID’ or ‘long haulers’. It is estimated that 10% or more of COVID-19 survivors have long term health problems. These symptoms are many and inconsistent, and some may not have occurred during the height of the initial illness.
We create a unique plan of treatment for each COVID-19 survivor as each will have a unique situation of experiences and challenges.
Post-COVID-19 Syndrome residual symptoms include:
- Fatigue (sometimes debilitating)
- Shortness of breath
- Joint pain
- Chest pain
- Body aches
- Brain fog (impaired memory and cognition)
- Inflammation
- Coughing
- Difficulty sleeping
- Anxiety
